Meaning
The six-faced Murugan and the five-armed Ganesha were engaged in divine sports. Many come to worship and Devas shower flowers, the damsels from Heaven sing and dance….as He reveled in the festive atmosphere. The primal force of life and the eternal truths vie for importance, Vedas and speech stutter watching this, the one with the blue throat (Shiva) and the one with slender fingers (Parvati) dance together and those who witnessed this dance were in joy. A ball thrown up in air disappears in a splash of colours and shines like the sun itself… The crescent moon riding on the disheveled hair trembles at this sight even as Narada sings in praise with divine music accompanied by drums (Dundubhi) which keep beat, the Moon in its virtue, dances in awe.
