O Son of Vayu, the one with moon-like eyes and the one who put an end to Sita's distress, protect us.
One who aids in crossing the ocean of earthly bonds; one who has extreme prowess in chanting and spreading the fame of the taraka mantra; one who carried the Sanjeevani mountains; He who is the son of Vayu.
One who protects the world and its dharma; the one who was the messenger and dear to the Lord of the Raghu dynasty; one who destroyed the ego of the enemy of Lord Indra (Indrajit) and who is the repository of pure virtues and who pleases everyone.
One who prostrated at the holy feet of Narada, who was considered an expert musician and accomplished in all aspects of music including melody, swaras, rhythm & gaits; one who is devoid of unwanted desire and anger and dwells in the ocean of prema bhakti (unconditional devotion & love) and one who has eyes like that of an alluring lotus; One who possesses divine qualities and who provides refuge to those in need; one who conquered the sons of Diti, the Asura, and who resembles a large mountain in His appearance.
One who gives refuge to those who surrender to him; one who mastered all the art forms, vedas, holy scriptures including the 9 vyakaranas from the Sun, who is superior among the lords of the sky; one whose body posture is an embodiment of humility; who is one of the foremost devotees of Raghurama and the one who destroyed the ego of Ravana (who belonged to the lineage of Powlastya); the one who is the mighty Anjaneya!
