I medidate upon Shri Anjaneya, the celebrated devotee and messenger of Lord Rama (Raghava), who is ever joyful.
He dispels the fears of his devotees and is the cause for uniting Rama Chandra (the moon from the ocean of the Surya dynasty) with his beloved Rohini, Sita.
He is revered by all beings in the world. He is the son of Anila, the God of Wind, and embodies the highest form of modesty.
He startled Airavata (Lord Indra's elephant), during his playful journey to fetch Lord Surya (the Sun God) and mischievously caused havoc in Ashokavana. He played with the mountain-like pride of Mahiravana, the son of Ravana, and symbolizes the epitome of sweetness found in the taraka mantra.
He renounced the highest form of liberation and instead found solace and joy through his single-minded focus on Lord Rama's lotus-like feet. He lifted and held the mountain Sanjeevi in his hands. He dwells in the hearts of the virtuous and exemplifies great courage.
He is the embodiment of compassion who conquers the deceitful and fierce minds of demons. He moves swiftly across the sky, removing the impurities and sins of Kaliyuga.
