lovely blue pearl obtained from the ocean of compassion ...1

A blend of luminosity, determination, fairness and intelligence

resulting in a larger than life-force that is the embodiment of compassion ...2

Even if the Sun were to rise in the West,

His measured speech knows no contradictions ...3

Heaven and earth bow in awe to the

wisdom and virtue that are Rama's life breath ...4

His hands plucked one eye from the crow (Kākāsura),

the life from Kabandha, and sliced the nose of Shoorpanaka ...5

The very sound of the bells of his bow, Kodanda

sent shivers down the spines of his enemies across the universe ...6

Even an unwise would redeem his lost penances,

were he to hear Rama's story! ...7

Intelligent, powerful, dutiful, virtuous, honest,

a man of integrity, knowledge and embodiment of auspiciousness ...8

A deer went hopping by and when his own deer (Sita) said,

‘Get me that!”- he showed his love by chasing even this fake deer ...9

His feet are like fresh blooms of lotus

with hands that match these in proportion ...10

His toe nails look like scattered

red flames put together in a row ...11

Pearls, coral, rubies, and diamonds

what were the covered knees made of? ...12

One end tied, the other tucked in,

his gold threaded shawl sports thick brocade! ...13

A belly-button that could accommodate

the entire world with room to spare ...14

Competing with this thrice twisted (upanayanam) thread

are the other adornments in his flawless body ...15

Evil fears to come near those brave hands whether it

touches his bow kodanda or his unerring arrows ...16

His neck is nothing but verily a brilliant

white conch smeared with green ...17

The beauty of his darting eyes are

imconquerable across any world ...18

Dazzling cheeks and sizzling nose,

curved eye brows and pure flower-like eyes ...19

Boundless beautiful locks and
dark cloud-like hair that cannot be tied or confined ...20

Shree Ramachandra, Lord of Seeta,

sought after by all, endowed with divine virtues ...21

Well-muscled thighs and shoulders, yet

as enchanting as the lotus, dark hued, a sea of compassion ...22

The Scriptures bow to Him, he follows the dictate of fate,

and he is the Blissful One whom no one knows ...23

Young Ramachandra, noble as Indra,

a repository of good qualities and benevolence ...24

Modest to a fault, skilled beyond words,

can anyone speak of Rama’s greatness ...25

2.	காந்தியும் உறுதியும் நீதியும் புத்தியும் கலந்தே உருக்கொண்ட கருணையாம் வாழ்வு
3.	கிழக்கான சூரியன் மேற்க்கே உதித்தாலும் வழக்கேதுமில்லாத வாகான பேச்சு
4.	வானமும் மண்ணும் வியந்தே பணிந்தாக ஞானமும் சீலமும் ரகுராமன் மூச்சு
5.	காக்கை ஒரு கண்ணும் கபந்தனின் மெய்யும் சூர்ப்பணகை மூக்கும் தொலைவித்த கையன்
6.	கோதண்ட மணியோசை கேட்கப்படாதென்று மூதண்டமெங்கிலும் முறை வைத்த செம்மல்
7.	கேட்காத மூர்க்கனும் ராமனின் கதை கேட்கால் மீட்காத தவத்தையெல்லாம் மீட்டிடும் ஐயன்
8.	புத்திமான் சக்திமான் கர்வமான் தர்மவான் புண்யவான் கண்யவான் போதமான் ஸ்ரீமான்
9.	தத்தி மான் ஒன்று ஓட "அதைத்தா" மான் எனக்கேட்டு அப்பித்திமான் பின் சென்ற பேரான பெம்மான்
10.	அன்றே அலர்ந்திட்ட தாமரைப் பூப்போன்று அழகான கால்கள் அதற்கேற்ற கைகள்
11.	கொட்டிய செந்தீய முகத்தினை வரிசைக்கு கூட்டிக்கிடந்தாற்போல கால் நகக்கூட்டம்
12.	முத்தோ பவழமோ மாணிக்க வைரமோ மூடிக்கிடக்கின்ற முழந்தாள் பிணைச்சல்
13.	ஒற்றை முனை கட்டி ஒற்றைமுனைச் செற்றிக் கற்றை சரிகை வரும் கட்டுபொன்னாடை
14.	அண்டத்தை மூடி அத்தனையும் வைத்தாலும் கொண்டது இதா என்னும் கொப்பூழின் சுற்றம்
15.	முப்புரி நூலுக்கு போட்டி போட்டாற் போல தப்பில்லாத தூணிக்கு தாமப் பிணைச்சல்
16.	கோதண்டம் தொட்டதோ குறிசரம் தொட்டதோ தீதண்ட அஞ்சுமாம் தீரமாம் கைகள்
17.	வெண்சங்கம் தனையெடுத்து மேலாகப் பச்சைபூசி திண்ணம் வைத்ததோ என்னத் திருக்கழுத்து
18.	மோவாய்க்கு மேலாகக் கண்ணை அசைத்தாலும் பார்வெல்ல முடியாத பக்குவத்தழகு
19.	தத்தள் கன்னம் தள தள நாசி தொடுவளைப்புருவம் தூமலர்க் கண்கள்
20.	மட்டுக்கடங்காத வரி எழில் கற்றை கட்டுக்கடங்காத் கருமேகக் கூந்தல்
21.	ஸ்ரீராமச்சந்திரன் சீதா மணாளன் தேடார்ந்த தெய்வம் திருவார்ந்த பண்பன்
22.	ஆஜானுபாஹூ அரவிந்தமூர்த்தி காசாம்பு மேனி கருணா சமுத்ரன்
23.	வேதாந்த வந்த்யன் விதிவந்த்ய சீலன் யாராருமறியாத ஆனந்த மூர்த்தி
